Crumbled Envelope Bag

An edition of two, made exclusively and never to be repeated!

Inspired by a well-worn envelope bag, this ceramic lamp captures the beauty of something softened through use. Its folded flap and gently uneven edges recreate the natural creases of a crumpled envelope, while the hand-drawn blue stitch-like lines trace across the surface like delicate markings on paper. A bold black-and-red strap runs through the centre, while hand-formed yellow ceramic details peek from beneath the flap like gathered fabric.

The contrast of the soft, weathered cream surface with graphic detailing gives the piece the character of a familiar object that has travelled, been handled, and gathered a story along the way.
