The Mimetic Fold is a study of the familiar.
Six ceramic lamps take their cues from forms encountered in everyday life - objects we see, hold and pass by without much thought. Translated into clay, these familiar forms begin to shift. What appears soft becomes solid, what seems temporary becomes enduring, and what we know as an everyday object takes on a new life as light.

Inspired by mushrooms and the quiet intelligence of the forest floor, this collection celebrates the unseen: the textures of gills and bark, the bloom of fungi from clay. These forms are shaped in that spirit - slow, rooted, and quietly alive.
